416th Bomb Group Morning Reports 1945 (PRELIMINARY)
These are Preliminary 416th Bomb Group World War II (WWII) era morning reports for the
416th BG Headquarters (HQ) and 4 Bomb Squadrons (668th, 669th, 670th and 671st)
for January thru the Group and Squadron deactivations in October 1945.
The HQ and 668th Bomb Squadron (BS) files have been cropped, but the 669th, 670th and 671st BS files are still in a Preliminary state until they have been fully reviewed, cropped and edited.

Notes:
Nazi Germany signed its unconditional surrender on May 7, 1945, at Allied headquarters in Reims, France. This document took effect at 11:01 PM Central European Time on May 8, 1945, which is celebrated globally as Victory in Europe (V-E) Day. Due to a Soviet request, a second, formal signing took place in Berlin on May 9, 1945. (Google AI summary)
The Squadron Morning Reports were split into "Air Echelon" and "Ground Echelon" groups/sections for the months September and October, 1945.
